At the Helsinki Boat Afloat Show on 20-23 August, Konekesko presented the Yamarin range in two colours. The traditional blue-and-white colouring is now complemented by a white-hulled option with a lighter interior.
For the 2010 season we are introducing a new hull colour option to complement the classic dark blue Yamarin style. The new colour was inspired by the Yamarin 80 Day Cruiser introduced in 2009 and the encouraging customer feedback received. In addition to a white hull, the new colour option offers lighter tones for the interiors.
"Now and again our customers have asked for another boat colour, and now we're offering them one. Dark blue and gold, the colours everyone associates with the Yamarin brand, are still there in the new option, too. The interior colours include dark blue, sand and grey," says Peter Krusberg, the Yamarin Product Manager.
For open boats, the new colour option includes a new type of mattress fabric that is weatherproof and keeps its shape well - it also looks good and is easy to clean. The mattress styles vary according to boat model. The canopies will remain the familiar grey.
In the latest sales season Yamarin managed to strengthen its position despite the poor economy. Its success is due to offering a range of boats that meets customer needs, a network of highly competent dealers and the right sales and marketing measures. "Yamarin’s blue and white colours have been an extremely popular combination among boaters and we have no reason to discontinue the maritime blue option. However, after careful consideration, we decided to create another colour scheme to complement the blue-and-white colouring, and we hope it will prove as popular," says Tarmo Vuojärvi, Development Director.
No other significant changes in the boat range or in accessories have been made for the 2010 season. The availability of colour options will vary according to the model.
Both blue-hulled and white-hulled Yamarin boats were presented for the first time at the Helsinki Boat Afloat Show on 20-23 August 2009. |
