Konekesko Ltd.

is a service company and part of the Finland-based Kesko Group. Its business areas are heavy machinery and recreational machinery, serving demanding professional users and quality-conscious retail customers, respectively.

Konekesko’s net sales amount to approximately EUR 200 million, and the company employs around 300 professionals in the field.

Konekesko’s recreational machinery business unit is divided into Marine and Yamaha Motor. Marine is responsible for boating products, and Yamaha Motor for motorcycles, snow scooters, scooters, mopeds and ATVs.

is the Finnish market leader in boating, representing the best domestic and international brands. Our business is based on long-term collaboration with boat makers and our dealership network. For example, we began importing Yamaha already in 1966, and the same decade also saw the emergence of our longest-standing dealer partners that are still in business.

Our main market area is Finland. We export Yamarin boats mostly to Scandinavia, but increasingly to other parts of Europe as well. 

Kesko started importing Yamaha outboards to Finland 40 years ago. Yamaha has been the market leader in outboards ever since 1977. This close and reciprocal collaboration of more than four decades has widened in recent years to comprise Yamarin boats. Konekesko’s own Yamarin line-up has evolved to become no. 1 in boats supplied for the European Yamaha dealership network.
